HSEQ MANAGEMENT PLANS We produce a robust Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Management Plan before any plant maintenance shut managed by the Hutec International team. This document effectively describes the process of how Hutec will manage the HSEQ associated with the project before any work is commenced.
This HSEQ Management Plan applies to Hutec’s management of all Health, Safety, Environment & Quality risks. It demonstrates the commitment of Hutec’s management of HSEQ.
Each plan contains the necessary information required to effectively manage the project quality from planning to delivery. It defines the quality policy, plans and procedures relating to the project, including the roles, responsibilities and authorities. The HSEQ Management Plan defines the requirements specific to the site and contracted project.
HAZARD MANAGEMENT Task specific hazard management systems are the key to achieving our safety goals. We pride ourselves in developing plans that keep our team safe.
All hazards are identified by:
Pre-shut site inspections and checks
Pre-task Hazard ID Sheets AP
Hazard reports and site specific hazard register/notices
Job Safety Analysis Sheets/Hazard Identification forms
Hutec Job Safety 360 Review
Incident Investigations
Near miss reporting
Pre task hazard ID sheets
TOOLBOX MEETINGS The Hutec Site Supervisors ensure that all work parties, and members, attend and record daily toolbox meetings at the beginning of each day and night shift.
Topics include:
Any incidents/near misses reported over the last shift or 24 hours
Identification of any hazards associated with the work scheduled.
Identification of measures taken to control any hazards.
Reinforcements regarding PPE and works controls.
The scope and nature of the work, and any areas of physical overlap between work parties.
Specific critical work path and activities to be aware of.
RISK MANAGEMENT For each plant shut, we produce a Risk Assessment Matrix, and put in place the required controls dependant on probability and severity of the risk. We then also detail the appropriate controls on a Project Risk Register. These documents are supplied as part of the total HSEQ Management Plan prior to any project commencing.
QUALITY AUDITING Internal HSEQ audits are carried out at scheduled intervals on work achieved on site including sub-contract works. Internal audits are assigned to the Hutec H&S Manager who has the skills and experience, with no direct responsibility for the work. In addition to this, the Project Manager reviews the audit reports and initiates any corrective actions required to ensure compliance.
A re-audit is carried out to verify corrective actions have been actioned to prevent a recurrence of the deficiency. Records of internal quality audits are maintained on site and available for the client and contractors to reference.
